All Valuations are subject to a minimum charge of £50.00

 

Insurance Valuation Charges   (Breakdown of the total charge)

 

Documentation Fee……………………. £20.00     The charge made for typing, printing, photography,

                                                                                     paper and CD's

 

Plus a per item fee of

a) Plain Metal (inc watches)………… £10.00     Items made purely of metal not containing any stones.

                                                                                     Most watches are included.

 

b) Simple Gem Set………………………. £15.00     Items that usually contain between 1 and 7 stones

 

 

c) Complicated Gem Set……………… £20.00     Items that usually contain more than 7 stones

 

A combination of 10 or more items from either group a, b or c only will be given a 10% discount off their total fee.

 

d) Under £200.00 Value………………. £3.00     Any single item valued at less than £200.00 will be

                                                                                     charged at a flat rate of only £3.00 (Not £10.00,  

                                                                                     £15.00 or £20.00 as in groups a, b and c)

Re-Valuation Charge    (The charge for a previous valuation to be updated)

 

Re-valuation will be charged at only  £50.00  for each schedule containing up to 20 items.

The only provisos I ask are that the previous valuation is fully detailed and provided for my viewing and all items to be detailed on the new schedule are inspected. Any extra research required or detail added will be charged at a minimum of £3.00 per item.
